A quiet exploration of the natural world — its structure, its rhythm, its unexpected grace.
We’ll draw inspiration from the garden and the wild, working through a series of layered techniques that celebrate both observation and imagination.
You will be shadow, contour, and texture sketching—capturing the fleeting dance of light across leaf and stem; creating sculptural botanical reliefs in clay—pressing form into dimension; making cyanotypes and stitching — adding rhythm and texture, while painting and mixed media weave together depth, tone, and story.
Each layer builds upon the last — a dialogue between art and nature, between what we see and what we feel.
This workshop invites you to slow your pace, look closely, and let your creativity unfold, one layered mark at a time.
We limit our workshops here at our cottage….so there are only a few spots available. Join us as we gather, learn, and dream. You will leave inspired to step into, grow, and delight in your creativity.
