There’s something sacred about what our hands remember.
In this immersive workshop, you’ll carve, print, paint, and bind — creating a handcrafted book that holds the evidence of your making. Through linocuts, making your own charcoal, drawing, altered pages, and collage, we’ll explore the beauty of the imperfect mark and the stories that surface as we work. Each page becomes a keepsake of process and presence — a personal artifact shaped by your own creative rhythm.
Every mark is evidence of the maker.
We limit our workshops here at our cottage….so there are only a few spots available. Join us as we gather, learn, and dream. You will leave inspired to step into, grow, and delight in your creativity.

• NOT INCLUDED IN FEE - travel and accommodations
• Oak Cottage is located in beautiful Eastern North Carolina. If you are flying, you can fly into Raleigh, NC (1.5 hours away) or Greenville, NC (15-20 minutes away). Driving? We are 1.5 hours away from Raleigh, NC, 3 hours from Richmond, VA, 6 hours from Charleston, SC, 10 hours from Nashville, TN…..to give you an idea.
• Once registered, we will send you hotel recommendations or there are Airbnb’s in the area, as well.

Thursday, March 19 - Welcome Long Table Dinner, 6:00pm
Friday, March 20 - Workshops/Lunch, 10:00am-5:00pm
Friday, March 20 - Group dinner at a local restaurant, 6:00pm (not included in the price of the workshop)
Saturday, March 21 - Workshops/Lunch, 10:00am-4:00pm
