Few things are more powerful than a gathering by someone that has a true heart for hospitality. When we gather and serve in this way our motives are different. We are sending the message “There you are!”, instead of “Look at me!” We can step confidently in the role of host in any sized gathering and know that what we’re doing is making a big difference in the hearts of those we’ve gathered; as well as ourselves. It is also then that we begin to envision our home as our most powerful place of ministry.
